At Independence At Home Services, LLC, our goal is to help people remain in their New Jersey homes whenever possible with our independent living services. Time and again we have seen this option boost people’s self-confidence by allowing them to remain active with their family, friends and hobbies. In addition to offering independent senior living services, Independence At Home Services is also here to help people age 15 and older who have disabilities or who have medical, surgical or personal needs. We assist in maintaining their independence by assisting with the tasks of daily living that may be difficult or no longer possible for them. Many times independent living can be continued with the helpful assistance of caregivers at home.

Pre / Post Operation One area that can be lacking in health care is pre / post operative planning. Enter Independence At Home Services. One of our home care services is providing the assistance at home you may need before and after your operation. Prior to your operation, we will do an in-home assessment to address any home modifications that need to be made to ensure a safe, comfortable place for your recovery. We will also create a detailed recovery plan for your home health aide. After your discharge from the hospital, a nurse can be waiting at your home to take care of all the details such as filling your prescriptions, shopping for nutritious food and supervising the delivery of any medical equipment.

Transportation Independence At Home Services fills a void in the health care industry by offering transportation services as part of our assisted living services. We can offer you discounted ambulance rates and can also drive you to doctor appointments, dialysis and hospital stays, just to name a few things, using your personal car. You can also rely on us to get you to all the fun and exciting activities in your life, such as weddings, holiday events and the everyday errands and appointments that we all have scheduled. If you’ve been putting life on hold because of transportation issues, our independent living service can get your social calendar back on schedule.

Home Modifications A disability or illness may not be as life changing as you think. With the correct changes, Independence At Home Services can transform your home into everything it should be—a safe and secure personal space that allows you ease of mobility and comfort. Our assisted living program has a licensed contractor who can handle any home modification such as wheelchair ramps, walk-in showers and even installing a first floor bathroom and bedroom. We are licensed, bonded and insured.

It’s a simple process to become a client of Independence At Home Services. Contact us at 973-764-9430 and we’ll set up an appointment to come to your home for an assessment. During the assessment we’ll gather the information we need to be able to best serve you and answer your questions about assisted independent living. We’ll discuss your doctors’ recommendations and guidelines including your diet, diagnosis, Hippa guidelines, your personal routine, your likes, dislikes allergies and medications. We’ll review our independent living services with you so that you can sign up for the services that are best for you.

We’ll both sign a non-binding agreement, which simply gives Independence At Home Services permission to provide you with in-home assisted living services. You are entitled to break the agreement at any time. Out of courtesy to our caregivers, we ask for one week’s notice.
